Ok I finally had a chance tonight to get to work on the Tracker. Some of you know that in previous threads I posted about it, it is pretty well carboned up.

Procedures were pretty much the same as BlazerLT's thread. I fed the Tracker 4 glasses of distilled water sucked through a small vaccum hose leading straight into the intake manifold. The gas was held down by a cinder block holding the engine at about 2300RPM. I think though I didn't get the RPM high enough to really make a difference. Meaning, I would have to stop feeding the engine water for a second and let it regain RPM because it would bog down alot below 1800 RPM. No, I wasn't in a hurry with the water.

So if there is a difference it's small. I will work on it some more tommorow. I didn't want to overdoit so I felt 4 glasses was enough for today. Stay tuned, PartII is tommorow,,,AR

Thanks Gary! I have about 3/4 of a gallon left of water. My goal is to have the Tracker in good shape by the time I get down to 1/2 gallon or even 3/4 of the gallon used up. Thanks again,,AR

I came home this weekend. The Tracker is somewhat better but enough for attention still.

This time I'll try FP through the manifold as opposed to water, see how it performs. Sometimes I think the cat is clogged too or, partially clogged anyway? I might do this tommorow.

Also, I'll try and make alittle video clip of it before, during, and after,,,,AR

I always make sure the engine is at operating temp before sucking anything down the vaccum hose, thanks anyway though for the tip!

Hot days are pretty much overwith whetherwise here in Ohio. Tommorow is supposed to only creep up into the low 50's for the high

I don't think we'll see too much more mid 60's and above either, kind of a bummer though. We'll see how it goes and report back,,,AR
