I made the mistake of ordering these to have a few mini low profile fuses

ATM LP

They are too wide and too long!

Anyone else have that problem?

Below are the correct size.
Did I order the wrong ones or is the QC poor?
Nearly every generic one looks like the one I ordered and doesn't fit. Is ford just that picky?

I hate fuses. There are so many different kinds. I made this for our fuses at work that arent any of the mirco/mini/normal blade ones. I made that in August and we have added another row IIRC.

Be happy they didn't fit, that cheap Chinese crap can burn your car down. US / first world brand name only! The ones from HF and the cheap stuff on amazon are basically the same.
When doing any electrical work on your car use made in USA or first world produced products only, that includes wire and cable, high grade terminals, tape, fuses and fuse boxes, etc.

thanks all. I have the add a tap also....probably should have avoided those...
will at least toss the fuses they came with!

That's what I would do, the fly by night no name companies that order these things from China couldn't care less if your car burns down. The problem with them is they are poorly calibrated for the rated amps, they melt and flame also.
I saw a 7.5 amp that was as fat as a 20 amp and burned the wiring to the accessory power socket when a penny fell in on a GMC, the guy was very lucky it didn't flame.
