My next door neighbor called me last night with a Generator Issue, this Generator is probably from Lowes or Home Depot. He told me it was all gassed up and the oil level was fine, but after 10 minutes of running it would shut off. He would start it again and 10 minutes or so it would shut off, I ended up taking the oil level low sensor off and all is now fine. I am sure there are threads on this issue, but if anyone has a Generator from a box store and it runs for awhile and then quits, this is good information when someone might go into the carburetor. Some will say that the spark plug is the 1st thing to check or the coil, but this situation had me pointed towards an electrical issue, meaning safety switch.

Is there any corrosion on the connection?
Not that I saw, the Generator is fairly new, this is probably an issue with a malfunctioning safety switch.
