Got a 10 HP Tecumseh on a Coleman generator. It starts (on choke), then dies right away. I've coaxed it on full choke (and after manually priming) to run like cr*p. The carb is new, the coil checks out great, the low oil sensor (I pulled the wire) has nothing to do with it, and the gas line is free and clear. The gas is fresh and ethanol free (all of it), the plug is brand new, the wires to the plug, the on/off switch, and the low oil sensor are all intact and not rubbing anything. I'm kind of at my wits end. I did not check the flywheel key (will tomorrow). Any other ideas?

See if your exhaust valve has a gap. The old valves strech and it won't run very long. Grind off top for some clearance or just replace the valve.
A new valve will need to be ground for clearance.
yeehaw, does the new carburetor have a fixed or adjustable main jet? Have you pulled the float bowl nut to see if the float bowl is filling with fuel?
