I'm about to get 2 for the Accord. I'm putting them out front and 2 Kumho ASX on rear. That way I'll be able to swap them Kumhos up from later in the colder season.
They seem to review well.

Very bad idea. Never put the tires with more traction on the front of a FWD vehicle. Personal experience as niave college kid and tire industry practice. Most reputable tire shops will not install new tires on the front driving wheels. In winter conditions you'll find tail end of your car swinging quite easily and will find yourself in a spin.

Also this will likely be exasparated since I read on tireack the following:

"While meeting minimum tread design standards to be "M+S" branded, the Exclaim UHP is designed to provide high levels of traction, response and control in dry conditions, along with superior hydroplaning resistance in wet conditions. We do not suggest Exclaim UHP tires be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice."

Tirerack rates it as an ultra performance summer. If I were you I would replace the entire set of 4 with these tires or simply purchase two new Kumho ASX and place on the rear.

good luck

My car is lowered an inch on Eibach springs and KYB GR-2 struts, along with a beefy aftermarket rear swaybar. This combination is used by other Elantras in autocross, and they report problems with tire grip all the time. Personally, I want a sticky tire to help alleviate the problems of grip.

195/60-15 is a full inch bigger than stock. 195/55-15 is 1/3" greater than stock. I think the previous owner calibrated the speedo to that circumference tire, as the car was wearing 185/65-14 tires when purchased.

Mine are sitting right here next to me, going on the car's front tomorrow. Putting the Kumho ASX on back until it gets frosty. Then when the Exclaims are pulled off for the placment rear, I'll add my own custom siping to them. Will report back after a week or two.

I won't sipe them until late fall when they go on the rear. What I did notice is that there are sipes in the lower tread, next to the bigger blocks. As far as the tires, they are amazing. I'll check in again later.

How do these tires handle mud and dirt roads? I'm thinking of using some for rally-x.

I think you wil be happy w/them. Mind you, I'm driving a 2-week old car and not takihng it Rallye Racing. Decent wear rating, but not all tires handle rough pavement well.
