Got some winter studded tires for the work Rav4, pleasantly surprised by the made in Germany moniker. Old Michelins had 80% tread but were weather checked out. Disappointed by dry pavement noise tho.

I had a few sets of studded so I know that noise, these sound like rubber slapping around town.
Any studded tire would make that noise on clean pavement.
Those General tires are very good even without studs in snow, but studs help in very compacted snow and on ice.

My studded AT2's don't make the slapping noise.
is there any satisfaction guarantee? DT here has 30 full return policy.
Maybe go with some ws-90's
Just a fleet vehicle, personal vehicle is different.
Today a blizzard rolled in, tires felt well planted on the highway. Was looking for a set of winters for the Honda- Toyo studded Observe, might have to reconsider if I save a few bucks.
Here, Nokian is carried by one vender- I don't find their prices competitive.
