Gear oil shelf life (opened)

I have a bottle of Motul Gear 300 that's still about 3/4 full. It has been sitting on my shelf inside for about 6 months. How long can I expect this stuff to last? A year? Two years? 5?

I have a partial jug of super tech gear oil, and it has the old ST label. the one the looks kinda like tire tracks.

not sure how many years that is.

just by looking at it, it seems the same as when I first opened it up.

I've opened a pail/drum of Subaru Extra S and placed it in a big jug with a pour spout. I was told it would last for years in that jug. So unless we're talking more than 7 years, I wouldn't worry about it.

Great! Thanks. Won't need to replace the diff fluid for a while but it's good to know I'll already have some of a supply.
