I seldom use ebay anymore, but I gave a negative rating to a seller once. The seller was selling auto parts and had listed a part that the aftermarket no longer manufactures. I emailed the seller and asked if he actually had the part, or if he just sold the part on ebay and later bought it at an auto parts store and then just shipped it to the buyer. He told me he actually had it on hand. I purchased this part on ebay and then he told me that his supplier was not able to come up with the part. I gave a negative rating and explained why.
