I was in Pigeon Forge Wednesday-Saturday and while the smoke was noticeable it wasn't bad. Granted it was a bit damp and not that windy last week.

I guess a couple of days can make a difference-hopefully the rain passing through now will make a difference.

My Daughter just drove through there a few hours ago. She is driving from NC to San Diego. Said that She had reservations there and had to just keep right on going.

I have visited that area many times. Went there as a kid with my parents, then took my kids there. Hopefully they get everything under control.

Only about a half hour drive from Gatlinburg. Sadly we didn't get enough rain to slow the fires yet. News is reporting 100+ structures burned including homes and hotels.
