so they rate these things stupid
turn on the water.. pull the trigger to get all the air out..
then turn on power washer put in the 0degree nozzle
this is your maybe 1800psi at .8gpm or so needle of cleaning.
Then put the soap nozzle in this is your 1.75GPM.
Most gas power washers average around 2500psi at 2.5gallon or better.
Certain things take power to clean.. concrete driveway comes to mind.
if you are doing siding. you want about 1500psi but warm water helps alot if its not getting clean.
Car 1500psi is fine.
are you using the soap nozzle by mistake.. those make the noise you were mentioning.
