Used Oil Analysis.
My oil checked to be 4.2% gas (in the oil).
Although I could NOT smell any gas.

You take a sample during an oil change or with a sample pump anytime.
Gas is a solvent and hurts the lubrication abilities of the oil. Diesel is sometimes in the motor oil of diesel engines and not nearly as bad.

When I had my VW GTI 1.8T, the oil always reeked of gas. UOA never found fuel contamination. Make of that what you will.

I just went back and re-read the used oil analysis (from '05-'06). The used oil analysis listed fuel as 1% in the 1st sample and 0.5% in the 2nd. I never did another UOA on this car. But the oil always smelled like gas.
I bet they gave you some value and never really checked it.
If you can smell gas, there is gas present. As we all know, gasoline is rather pungent and easily detectable.
That makes it a lot simpler then. If it was my car and it still ran fine with no codes I would change the oil and forget about it.
The injectors should be easily visible. Get a good light and check them for any bulging or cracks first. To test the injectors you will need a decent scanner and a fuel pressure gauge to do a balance test on them That car might have fuel test port, if not you can an adapter.

If you had a leaking injector, your oil level would be rising.
My mistake.
It was 2.4% gas (in the oil).
You need to get the oil analyzed if you want to check for the presence of fuel. And by a lab that uses a direct measurement technique such as a gas chromatograph. Blackstone is useless in this regard and often reports completely bogus results from their estimation method.
