Garmin Autopilot deployed for first time.

It seems that this is the first time this system has been put to the test in a real life emergency. The pilot was incapacitated and this system took over, safely landing the plane! Incredible!
I wonder if could be installed in an existing aircraft, and at what cost?

I saw that, however, it seems there is more to it.
The pilot left the airplane without any medical issues, on his feet.
No one was incapacitated according to EMS. So, the question is still why the system was activated?

Who knows. NTSB will have preliminary report in a month.

The system auto-deployed due to a loss of cabin pressure while the aircraft climbed through 23K'.
The crew of two presumably quickly donned their masks and were fine but for whatever reason elected to let the system do its thing to landing.
The aircraft was on a fairy flight to position for a passenger flight and continued on its way later on that day.
IOW, not a real save but a successful landing nonetheless.
