I received drum pricing on it back in Sept. No indication of quarts being available. I requested a PDS at the time but I have not received a response to date.
I contacted GET about two months ago and was told it would be on the shelves by late December. I don't know if they are having trouble with approval or the 5w30 isn't selling well. from the analysis on PQIA it looks good. Next time they have a special I will load up.

Most people are turned off by unfamilar brand, "green" advertizing, lack of SN, and lack of ILSAC starburst. The rebate is the only thing making sales. I got 2/3 rebates back so far. If I get the 3rd, one I will consider another jug.

Lots of people don't know what is SN SM or SL. If you have older car you are fine even with SJ
And lots of people trust BIG brands. Even better that way, more good oil for bitogers.
Sorry I didn't see your original thread on the subject.
Just received an email from GET saying they haven't released the PDS info I requested yet. They said they're "Almost there!"
with the new blend.
I'm primarily interested in the 5W-20's VI and HTHSV if we can get it. I'm hoping the VI will be higher than other 5W-20s since the oil is bio-based. For example, RLI's 5W-20 has a 179 VI. I don't think it will be that high but if it was the same as their 5w30 at 172 it would make for a very interesting oil.
But I'm not holding my breath, if and when the product ever gets released.
Road Trip to Niagara Falls NY to do some cross border shopping!
Cdn $ is up to par again.
The $16 mail-in rebate expires the end of this month.
BTW, if you want to try another bio-ester based oil, RLI which is available up here isn't that badly priced at about 30 bucks/US gal and thet do have a couple of grades somewhat lighter than the 5w30 G-Oil.
Just doing some searches to see if any used oil analysis had been done on the 5w-20 but haven't found any yet.
I've been running G-OIL 5W-20 SN Bio Synthetic for the last two oil changes now. I just received my sample kit from Blackwell so I'll be sending a used sample in for analysis in a couple weeks.
