Was having my 9 year old son help me out last night extracting the oil out of our lawnmower. Used an empty water bottle to hold the old, extracted oil in and get a rough measurement of how much we got out. Once finished, he says, "Dad, can I keep this bottle of oil?......I think it'd be cool to keep it on my dresser". I think he'd fit in around these parts....

How about a $20 investment in a UOA and turn it into an adhoc chemistry lesson?

Lots of unknown stuff on those UOA reports to a 9 year old, might involve some internet sleutin' or not....

LOL, not sure I'm ready to go down that rabbit hole yet or not. His main interest, at this point, is astronomy.

You should probably let him know that you're sending him on a one way trip to Mars, courtesy of your foot, if he spills that oil in his room!!

JK of course, but that would be one heck of a mess...
