911's have been my point of worship since around 1983. The lady who lived across the street from my childhood home bought a beautiful white SC Targa and she took me for a ride and it ever once in a while. It was like nothing I had ever been in in my life. I worshiped that car at the age of 13 and have dreamt of owning a 911 ever since. A modern day Targa is still a thing of beauty to me.
Right here! Yeah, I know the purists, of which I am one, aren't generally fans of the Targa but the rare ~1-2 year G body Turbo Targa is it for me, heck I'd even take a Turbo look package one.
My friend has a 328 and it is a pretty car, I did the cam belt checked the valves replace the air conditioning hoses receiver dryer etc and drove it and I will say a Porsche 911 [ what ever their model nomenclature is these days ] are much. much better daily drivers.
308 is the most beautiful car but the ergonomics are a joke. Also its not made for tall folks, I remember watching Magnum PI and remembering there is no way he fit in that car

And back then, Ferraris were hand and almost amateurly built. I remember getting up close to an early 308gt on a lift years ago when I almost pulled the trigger on one. The suspension components reminded me a bit of my TR6, albeit much, much more sophisticated. The ergonomics are odd, but I do fit the cars well.
They are wonderful cars though, needy but completely worth it in my somewhat twisted automotive opinion. Did I say pretty??
The Porsches of the day are so much easier to live with.
