Some of them are just alcohol, and I wonder why they would be smart to put in something stored for winter as alcohol attracts moisture and is corrosive in some instances. IMO, you are better off just taking the gas out of the tank or use one that is non alcohol solvent based. But, I must admit I really don't know, and since gas now has ethanol in it, are stabilizers even necessary? Plus, if you believe the paper on them, they themselves are temporary fixes, as in they only buy you up tp a year at best, so make sure you will be using that thing you put up the next year.
