My wifes 2003 L200 has been recently experiencing erratic fuel gauge levels.

Is there any fuel supplement that could possibly help?

I have heard and read good things about Techron fuel syetem cleaner helping out sending unit problems, especially on GM vehicles.

I understand it takes several treatments to see any benefit from it. Marvel Mystery Oil in the tank may help it too plus MMO may help the car run and perform better as well.

Jimmy is right - TECHRON. Also it is the only cleaner proven to remove the deposits (sulphur from bad gas) from the sender unit contacts that are actually in the gas tank. GM has bulletins telling you to use Techron to cure your very issue. I'd use the Chevron complete fuel system cleaner version with Techron and double the dose.

Thanks! We used to run a tank of chevron supreme and a bottle of the additive every few months but stopped doing that a couple years ago.

We moved on and now the Saturn is our beater. Not bad or anything just not loved.

Also, Marvel Mystery Oil will clean and keep things like this working.
I'd use the Techron for a bunch of reasons, then MMO in every tank [which I do!]. 3-4 ounces/10 gal gas.
