A friend of mine was taking his truck to have the gas tank cleaned out. His truck has over 300,000 miles. His fuel filter was dirty and needed to be replaced as well. I was following him to the garage so that I could take him back home. His car died on the way to the garage three times. The last time I took out my trusty bottle of Fuel Power and dumped three oz of Fuel Power in his tank. To make a long story short, his truck started right up and he was able to make it to the garage. He asked, "What the heck did you put in the tank?"

I agree with 04SpecV. FP may be a good product, but let's not get carried away here.

Yeah, it would take it a bit just to make it through the fuel system and get to the engine...
I'm not questioning what happened, I just doubt that FP had that much of an effect that fast (I'm a fan of FP too).
If the truck was dying because of an almost empty fuel tank (which would make sense if one is going to drop the tank and have work done on it), then he might have been picking up some water in the fuel supply.
FP will act as a gas drier and make that water combustible.

I have seen some vehicles, yes it was an (Ford) old pick-up truck, get too much fuel pressure in the tank and this causes the motor to start to act up.
Pulling over by the side of the road and merely pulling off the gas tank released the pressure and the thing ran fine from that point forward.
I had a different experience with a different Ford pick-up. After fueling up with really cheap gas, the vehicle started to buck and hiccup about 30 miles down the road. We pulled into a parts store, bought 2 bottles of isopropyl alcohol, dumped them in, rocked/shook the truck and after bucking just a few times more, it ran flawlessly as well.
