Front Tires Wearing on Edges - More Air?

For tire pressure difference? I do it on AWD and FWD just ' cos we drive either solo or two people in front seats and front end is already heavier due to engine placement. 2psi doesn't make much difference but keeps overall tire diameter about same with front and rear ties that's is more critical on AWD vehicles.

No one is going to pro-rate tires that are not evenly worn across the surface. A lot of cars do not wear tires evenly for a multitude of reasons and it is simply a "too bad so sad" situation when it comes to tire warranties.
Which is why prorating is mostly a scam and tire warranties are mostly a scam.

The edges of modern tires fresh from the factory are shallower tread and wear faster than the center . They are designed this way as a form of wear indicator.

On my Volt I ran 50-65 psi over the life of the tire, my “balance “ exceed the factory requirement at zero tow. Got 60,000ish miles out of the front and nearly 80k from the rear.

All 4 tires had the edges wore down long before the main tread, now days it’s normal wear and unavoidable.

Folks running “stock” tire pressure on Volts would almost always have the sidewall blow around 15,000-25,000 miles, so reducing tire pressures was worse.

The good news is that you're observing March 8th every day of the year.

Ouch, dealer changed the oil today. Took this pic.

Walmart has the Kumho LX Platinums for $107 down from $194. Just ordered 2. Will just keep them until later this spring most likely. Was too good of a deal to pass up.

Looks like it's being driven like an Elantra....Those Walmart kuhmo tires leave a lot to be desired as far as dry grip goes. But somehow they're excellent in the rain
