Front Suspension Bushings

My 98 Yukon has 206,000 miles on it and I still like it very much. Two years ago, I changed the idler arm, pitman arm and tie rod ends. Now, the rest of the front end needs to be rebuilt. My question is has anyone used poly bushings like the ones from Energy Suspension for the lower control arms or should I just stick with Moog?
I've used the poly in three hot rods and never had any issues, but I've heard people complain about noise and harshness. Maybe I won't like them in the truck. Any input from anyone?

I replaced all (suspension and body mounts too) the rubber bushings on my old CJ7 Jeep with Energy suspensions poly bushings. Great deal of improvement in handling, but that may be due to the old rubber one's being so worn. I did a complete restoration of this Jeep so Poly just made sense to me as an upgrade. I cannot comment on ride quality because, as you probably know, Jeep CJ's are not good riding vehicles to start. But alteast I know I will never have to replace these again. As for noise - I have none. No squeaks. Been on the Jeep for about 5 years. I also put the Energy Susp sway bar bushings on my Buick GN and I noticed a tighter steering feel - less slop but also no noise.

If it were me and I was keeping the truck and the price was comparable, I'd go with the poly. If I plan on selling it, I'd just get the rubber.

Yeah, I was going to get the kit that has the body mounts, trans mount, complete front end bushings and rear leaf spring bushings. This truck isn't going away any time soon... Even after I get a new one, this one will become my work truck. Thanks.

Then I'd go with the poly bushings.

Well, I dropped my truck off at the alignment shop to have the upper and lower ball joints and the upper and lower control arm bushings replaced. The guy didn't want to use the Energy Suspension LCA bushings I bought, so he didn't do the job.

Guess I'll be doing it in my driveway in January. Thanks, dude.

I gave used them and can personally say I wouldnt use them again unless I feel that a certain bushing needs them. They squeak and they wear funny and CAN lead to problems

Used them once for me it was a mistake. They can be noisy and transmit to much road noise, vibration ect. I could see where they would be good for road racing but for a every day driver not what I would want.

All my OEM rubber bushings are replaced by urethane bushings. Drives like a go kart which is fine by me. Great turn in and handling.

I've used them a couple times... don't like'em. They squeak. When it's cold, they apparently shrink and get loose... 'cause they rattle. I won't be using them again.
