Front side marker lights

I have a 2013 Kia Sportage. Just had a new battery installed 2 weeks ago. Over the weekend, I noticed that the front amber side marker lights do not come on. Everything else work fine. Also, could not find any fuse associated with these lights. Does anyone have any ideas what I should be looking for? Thank you for your help.

Did you check the obvious? The bulb?

Not yet. Looks like I will have to take headlight assembly off. Strange that both lights went out at same time. Will also check fuses very carefully.
