Front Differential Service

I want to service the front diff on my 2007 F-150 4x4. The manual states it is filled with 80w-90 diff oil. I am interested in using a synthetic oil come service time. All I can find in Synthetic Diff oil is 75w-90 weight. Will it cause any harm to the front diff to use the Syn 75w-90 weight?

Mobil 1? That 75-90 would be a benefit and an upgrade, IMO.
It gets cold where you live and it's what I'd choose.

Absolutely no problem - a 75-90 has all of the characteristics of a 90. I've done that "swap" on many Jeeps.

I switched to mobil 1 75w-90 in my front diff.

My Totota rear diff takes 80w90 so I use the Amsoil. But I the dealers (2) have told me 75w90 is fine as long as it is synthetic.
