Friction Modifier

I'm going to change my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's diff fluid to Mobil-1 75-140. These are LSD so a friction modifier is called for.

Would it be OK to use a generic (NAPA) friction modifier instead of the Mopar friction modifier?

Yes, you could use any LSD additive.

I believe your Jeep will have a Dana-style "Trac-loc." Any modifier for a Dana LSD should be fine...
