Finally washed my 99 Taurus. Washed and waxed it using Meguiars Gold Class soap and Meguiars Cleaner Wax. Imo it looks much better than before.

Spraymax 2K might fix up your peeling clear coat. Some light sanding and a couple of cans of the 2K would bring back the shine. Just wear a respirator when using it.

It gets me where I need to go. Plus no check engine light on and working cold AC.

My parents had a 2000 Taurus for many years. Same color! Glad yours is running well.

Ran it through Charlies in Kansas City, it does pretty good. Does underbelly and has a spray wax polish it sprays on. Tried the Turtle Wax Restorer because its cheap and I wash a lot so I don't get to attached to my details. Hit the hood and headlights, top coated with Jay Leno Detail Spray. Will probably use the the TW Graphene Wax again so to top coat it better.

2000 Ford Focus : original paint after plain old Nu Finish polish, nothing fancy. Ignore the BMW medallion.

Years ago I learned for me that everytime I put a lot of work into cleaning and polishing a car then somebody would crash into me and total it. Gave that process up.
