A toy doesn't get pieces of metal red hot at $45.00. It works, I've used it on tons of rusted exhaust pieces (and I'm in New York with salt everywhere) and have had great results. This isn't like a regular propane torch head, it's much bigger and more intense.
Why would the OP need to blow or cut it off with a torch when all the OP needs is to loosen it? That's just pointless. Maybe if it was an exhaust spring bolt that rusted so far there are no threads and the nut lost its hex shape and has become one with the flange, yeah, but not this. This is nothing. I've loosened rustier stuff than what the OP shows in the picture using the TS8000.
If the OP doesn't own any torch already, I think the TS8000 is significantly easier to use, will get the job done and won't damage the surrounding areas. The OP doesn't need something that can blast the nut away and possibly ruin the threads on the bolt it's on as well.
