I just took another look in my stash and there is this XG3600 Xtended Guard filter. I think I got in 2012.
The box says it is good for 10,000 miles, but do you think it will do a 15,000 mile distance with two changes? My car is a 1996 Avalon that is rated for the shorter filter; this XG3600 is oversize.

This designation is obsolete. Is it as good as a Fram Ultra, or just better than a Tough Guard?

I have a 1998 Avalon and I use XG3600 Fram Ultras at 15k intervals. But you do not have an ultra, you have the xtraguard, and I'd only use that for 10k.

The Xtended Guard is just an old Ultra (in fact, when they changed the name to Ultra, they kept the XG part numbers), probably as good as the Ultra, but I don't like using filters that old, especially in very common applications like 3600 and 3614.

you should really speak with motorking. He's a FRAM rep and gave me really good info about some filters I found on rockauto.
