This Fram ultra synthetic came off of a Honda CRV with unknown mileage. No light leakage from bypass area was detected.

Since this is a used filter, and there is oil all over the inside, it could be if there's a small air gap at the leaf spring that the oil is essentially sealing out the light. Before cutting it open, take an air nozzle and blow all around the area where the leaf spring mates to the end cap to remove all the oil at that seam. Then retest for light leakage.

What's the date code?

Almost looks like OG media to me???!!

Any wire backing?
It might be wire backed based on the wide pleats by the seam that are still straight. If so, that would be interesting since the date code is the 68th day of 2024.
