Fram Tough Guard TG2 Cut Open 4500 Miles

ST2 is no longer a combo valve ecore. It’s a Fram EG with a black ADBV. A few of the line is like that now that Fram and Champ are under the same ownership. I actually miss the ecore design.

I did not know that.
Never saw anything here about that, and have not looked at them in quite some time (last ST2 I bought was over a year ago and was still the old blue can with combo valve).

It will be quite a while till I need another ST2 sized filter, I have a TG2 and XG10575 in my stash for the truck, and I am going on 2 years right now on the Mobil 1 filter on it that I will be changing at some point in the near future.

those are excellent filters running a tg6607 on my wife’s Sentra, I would stick with them but don’t like the price.

They're OK-but I still have a stack of the "Frampion" CQ Blues, which were basically M1 clones from when Champ still made them. And a few OG XG2s as well!
