Good Afternoon Board,

I've attached photos of the filter coming off my 2005 Chrysler Town & Country with 102,000 miles.

Pretty uneventful, everything looked good to me; the Anti-Drain back valve very pliable, the filtering media spaced well and straight, the bypass valve in working condition, the end caps in excellent condition - no complaints from me!

Thank you.

Fram TG went back in, and I changed to Pennzoil High Mileage Platinum from the Pennzoil Platinum. Not certain if the High Mileage is any better, but I have 102,000 on the vehicle so if it’s a little better I’ll take it.

Nice and clean construction
That’s my thoughts also, and I have to admit I prefer holes over louvers. I don’t like louvers at all, I don’t want the hassle of examining the filter to make sure they are open. Hope Fram sticks with holes.

Turned out well for the 3k. Part number is a bit different than usual Fram style (TG16).
I’ve kept a short OCI on the Town & Country, every 3,000 miles or 6 months, which is the recommended interval in the manual. I know oil has improved since 2005, probably could go longer, but at 68 years old, I remember what my dad told me, oil and filter are cheap, engines aren’t.

Thank you for posting! Looks good but again any filter should at 3k miles..but with that I have seen TG's with 10k that still looked good.
