out/off: 8 quarts Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w20 with Fram Tiranium FS10575

in/on: 6.5 quarts Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30 and 1.5 quarts HPL Engine Cleaner 30 with Carquest Premium 84502 (PG with silicone gasket)

filter is decent but not my favorite.

What is that in the third picture, along the right side? It looks grayish--it is oil reflecting the light, or is it a gap in the filter media?

Must be an early date code since it has holes instead of louvers in the center tube. Got the date code?

Non-wire backed=no bueno. An Endurance is a better filter, and a better deal too.

Mobil 1's come out straighter than these.
The filter looks good overall but will never recommend it to be used 20,000 miles like they claim.
