Hey-o
It's been awhile since posting here but I got a new vehicle as my last one was totaled when some lady blew through a red light.. ANYWAY, I really can't find much information on the Fram Pro Synthetic other than one post from somebody who says they work for Fram and that it has the same internals as the Ultra. If that's the case, you can get a case of 6 for like $33 on Ebay.

So the question is, are they Ultras w/o the grippy stuff? Has anybody used them and liked them? Cut any open to verify?

Thanks!

I apologize if this is a repost of something but the search feature brings up EVERYTHING once "Fram" gets typed in so I couldn't find anything on them.

Fram pro series Synthetic is the same filter as Ultra. The packaging is designed for the installed market which is why there is no sure grip. They are only sold in six packs to repair shops but can be found online at times.
