This was used on my Ford 4.6 for about 6 months/8500 miles. Delvac 5w-40(4K) and Delo 5w-40(4.5K). Date code is A32351. I assume Dec 2012? Everything looked great and the ADBV was still as flexible as any other one I have felt.

Same filter and Delo went back. I plan to run this one 12K.

I suppose it could be. Looked pretty clean when I did valve cover gaskets maybe 18 months ago. Car is used exclusively for a 99 mile commute 3-4 days a week. Gets 4-5k oil changes without any top up so I doubt it.

It's either the 235th day of 2013 or 2023. Since they used the date code etch method way back, and these aren't make anymore then it's the 235th day of 2013. Looks like some rust on the leaf spring, but looks like it did its job for being almost 13 years old.

definitely had more life in it. long live the king of filters. side note, looks clean i doubt your motor is a sludge monster running a HDEO and long freeway commutes.

FPS going into my car next week. Got a bunch from Rock Auto a while back. No date code found, but assume it’s 10 years old. All of them look “pristine” as well.
BTW, I’ll still use my Endurance stash as well.
