There is nothing even the most premium oils can do about dirt.
At least run a high efficiency (99% @ 20u or better) filter for longer OCIs. If an inefficient Boss or Wix XP was run for 12.5K miles the oil would have a higher particle count over the OCI.

exactly what i did. the latest UOA with
particle count for this truck was great. not quite as good as the GM stuff but we’ll cut this 5.0 a break.

What filter was used on that UOA with a PC that was more than just the wear metal ppm counts in a typical UOA.

What was the ISO oil cleanliness code if you don't mind me asking? The GM filter one too as a reference would be a good baseline to know.

The Fram Ultra and Endurance suffer from the leak of unfiltered oil from the leaf springs. Would anyone know if the Fram Titanium has the same defect?
Most likely, since the Titanium got rid of the leaf spring fiber seal, and the leaf spring is most likely from the same supplier.

UOA typically does not tell story on suspended dirt or oxidation. There is nothing even the most premium oils can do about dirt.
Unless the 12,500 miles was mostly highway miles , I’d be changing a 9 qrt oil engine capacity oil every 10K mile / 12 month OCI and then consider I got my money’s worth on the oil filter and oil with a cleaner engine the result . Just because someone said or you were told you could go longer on the oil doesn’t mean you should . Besides , I like to get under a vehicle to check for any leaks and do a general inspection underneath for anything out of place (at least once year in your case) .

Myself, I would never use a Fram product on my car. No matter the cost, I'll use Mobil1 EP or Puralator BOSS instead.

it’s on the two UOA’s i’ve posted on here. the first is a 21’ chevrolet 5.3L after 12k on HPL PCEO, the other is this F150 at 12k on HPL PCEO.
