Off of a 2020 Ford Ecosport, 2.0 eco boom engine. I’d say judging by window sticker about 1,100~ miles on whatever oil and this filter. She bought vehicle from my company. 20k on vehicle also. Put some Mobil 1 5w20 and fram ultra older model I had in stash in and on.

A Champ Labs filter by another name........the AAP First Brands "Fram" Drive. Somewhat surprised to see felt fiber endcaps. That said, these pics are confusing to me. Pics 2,3,4, and 7 look like fiber endcaps. Pics 5&9 look like metal to me. And the 3614 uses a bypass, so the FD3614 uses a combo valve, no separate bypass. For me, No Bueno. Same as the current ST3614.

Thanks for c&p.

Yep, that explains it. Concentric looking circles with no outer endcap reference threw me off.

Just checking price, topic FD3614 ~$6 at AAP. SuperTech ST3614 white can, ~$3. Excepting can color, my bet same filters.

If Super Tech filters is still the blue can🙊😱
Don't understand reference. Most likely reason Super Tech prefix filter changed color to white (from blue), to distinguish them from newer MP series blue can. So I would say whether the Super Tech series is blue or now white, same internal construction as topic. Afaik current Super Tech3614 same as topic filter excepting can color. Happy to see information to the contrary.

I was trying to say the white can like ST 16 I cut open have fiber end caps but steel center tube. Sorry for any confusion sir

^^^Not a problem at all, I didn't pick up on that. That said, as noted in the ST16 thread after checking WM locally, the ST16 application seems to be a one off with that fiber endcap construction. Others still seem to be the Champ Labs type. I even looked at the older blue ST16, same as white. Doesn't mean things can't change or are different in other market areas. Thanks for clarification.
