Any problems in starting a new engine / fuel system on a diet of Fuel Power (1 oz / 5 gal), or should I accumulate some "break in" miles first?

I would say no problemo...start that puppy off right!

FP60 can be used right away. We only recommend you put 1000-1500 miles on an engine before running LC to allow the rings to seal.

I would just call LCD and ask them. I had a couple of questions that I couldn't find answers to, called and they were more than happy to talk to me!

Very nice guy, I wish I could remember his name. I wish more people were like them (him)!

I started using FP in my saab from right away. I havent started using LC yet, and wont until at least at my first oil change.

I would like to begin using FP60. Obviously a great deal of positive discussion on FP and LC has ensued here, but I do have some concerns before I begin using either product - primarily FP.

The Mazda has 36k on the ODO. I ought to start using something soon, and I'm drawn to FP based on the good things I read all the time. Here is why I am wary.

My '04 Mazda has a plastic fuel tank, and possibly other plastics along the way throughout the fuel system. Can any of those non-metallic materials be compromised by additives such as FP? Is this a possibility with ANY fuel system additive? Is there anything I should be concerned about (besides dosages) all things considered?

My other concern of course is Mazda. The owner's manual states something along the lines of "NEVER use fuel additives unless they are recommended by MAZDA!!" Bold print and everything. I guess this is the underlying reason for my hesitation.

i DOUBT THAT IN A 1:360 ( OR WHATEVER IS IS AT 1OZ PER 5GAL) YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS IN A PLASTINC TANK ETC, THE LAB REPORT ON lcs'S SITE AGREES WITH ME. eVERY COMPANY RECCOMENDS AGAINST FUEL ADDITIVES, THEY WANNA SELL U A NEW CAR IN A FEW YEARS.

EricZoom. 6i or s? How many miles now? Improvements?

I hope this doesn't stray off topic too badly. It pertains to "new" cars in general at least...

I have a 6s with 9500 mi. I've added a B&M 24k trans.cooler and have done the airbox mod.I use Redline D4 trans.fluid with 3 drain-refills,M1 0w20 oil and of course FP.

I had 3,000 miles on my 2004 Dodge Ram when
I started using it. My truck runs like a dream.

I think FP has plenty to do with that.
