I posted earlier this week about weak antifreeze, that caught me off guard, and it turned to slush. Had a couple or rude responses....Well, now my truck was running like garbage, rough idle, low power. Ive had plugs foul before on this truck. (305---1992). I pulled one of the plugs out and it was covered in a gunky/greasy/stuff. Unidentifiable as a spark plug. I replaced it with a new one, and it ran "normal" again, as good as it has ever run, put it that way. I didnt pull any more plugs, just 2 of them. I would have continued to check, but it ran fine after the second one I checked. What could have happened?

This is most commonly caused by not tightening the spark plug enough.
Wrong plug. Plug on firing because of wires etc. HG leak,

Oooh, yeah...thanks for the info...at least its a junk 305. I will "cripple and "crutch" it thru the rest of the summer until it goes [censored]-up. Its my old yard mowing truck, not my show-ster.
