Found Rotella T 10w-30 @ Menards!

Found Rotella T 10w30 at my local Menards! $11 a gallon or $33 for a 3 gallon case. I just picked up a case as they had plenty in stock.

I have been looking for this oil for a bit now to run in my 97 Jeep Cherokee 4.0.

Anyone else with the 4.0 run the Rotella T 10W30? I have seen posts with the 15w40 conventional and the 5-40 synthetic but not the 10-30.

I'm currently running Chevron 10w-40 which the Jeep hates, engine has become real "loose" or "chattery" sounding. It sounded fine on the PO's valvoline 5w30 when I purchased the Jeep a few months back.

Rotella 10w30 has been available at the Menards near me for several years. I'm about to run this oil in my '99 Jeep with the 4.7. The jeep has 105,000 miles and has a bit of varnish where I can see inside the valve covers. I'll cut open the filter and post a picture when the oil is changed out.

I have always been impressed with me-nards LOL! Seriously though that would be a great product for your jeeps (6 or 8 cylinder). My rubicon was happy with SSO, but now it's running an oil relish of what I had left over.

Yeah, I just find it odd that no one besides Menards carry's Rotella T in 10w30. For such a stout oil at that price point, you'd think more people would use it.
