Found a Tesla Supercharger under construction at a Burger King

You seem surprised by this. I know six Tesla owners and every one of them visits places like BK, Taco Bell, McD's, and the like. Generally, they use the drive-thru, but so do most people (from my observations and what little I've read).
BTW, TSLA is the stock symbol, which I'm sure you know. I would say that many TSLA shareholders eat at BK and the like. They may not drive a Tesla, though.
All ours closed also. Maybe the chargers are installed in anticipation of the restaurant getting flattened?

They just built one here a couple of years ago, though management sucks and service is lacking which doesn't help that they are surrounded by Arby's, Wendy's, and Jersey Mikes. I'm still trying to figure out why we have so much fast food in a town of 16k. I think BK and Wendy's would be the first to go.
Those are oftentimes Hertz rentals.
I can get 60 to 80 miles in the tie it takes to eat a whopper and fries.
Did a little bit of research (searching for Burger King Tesla supercharger) and found a few. Several in Florida and Misssisipi. Most around here are in shopping centers, and the one I saw was across from a very busy shopping center (Hillsdale Shopping Center). I would have thought it would have made for a good charging location.
Why would you spend a cou0ple of hours there? Charging a Tesla at a Supercharger takes 10 and possibly as much as 20 minutes. About the right amount of time to go to the bathroom and have a burger.

Yes, absolutley blown away TSLA drivers in San Francisco frequent Burger King. In The US- Burger King is in great decline, and shocked TSLA owners in San Franciso would be big fans of Burger King. Who would have guessed. Maybe San Fransico Burger Kings serve tofu burgers....... beats me.

I actually think quality food, clean restaurants, prepared by people who care enough to follow the preparation instructions is what might help turn things around at Burger King- no I don't think TSLA superchargers are the solution to Burger Kings declining sales.
Couldn't hurt. But to be honest we're more A&W fans.
Dying business tries to attract customers anyway they can. They install things like Amazon returns in Kohls or a Sephora store inside Kohls which is plain awful to get people to set foot inside.
