Never heard of it.

I've heard of Blazing Saddles by Mel Brooks though. Same thing? Top Secret was also pretty good.

Have not watched it in years, funny, but not my favorite Mel Brooks movie.

Just watched Space Balls with my son (12 years old, his first time to watch it) and he was cracking up.

History of the World was funny too (but not age appropriate for my son).

1) There have been so many movies made I'd bet there are many known, good movies older that 40 which you haven't seen.

==> A Foreign Affair (1948) w/ Jean Arthur, Marlena Dietrich, John Hurd. Corny post-war movie about a robotic (sheltered) Iowan Congresswoman who sees reality amid the "Ruins of Berlin" (a song Marlena D. sings in the movie). Prepare to fall in love with Jean Arthur.

==> **** Tracey meets Gruesome (1947) Boris Karloff is featured in one of these well made, corny-as-Kansas flicks. Great for kids and you too. Watch for X-Ray-a well done creepy character.

I tried brazing a saddle once and just ended up with burned leather.

Blazing Saddles in the afternoon, followed by Rocky Horror Picture show at 10 PM

Yes-one of the most non-PC movies ever made-but still funnier than [CENSORED]!!!

Most stereotypes are funny not because of who is being made fun of, but when you realize that the ones doing the stereotyping are usually angry little people because of their own shortcomings and lash out at others because of their own inadequacies, and they don't realize they are telling more about their hate for themselves than they are for who they are stereotyping.
