If you move quickly there seems to still be a good supply of Pennzoil Platinum available at local Wal-Mart stores for $3.90/L (in 4.73L jugs). Pennzoil Platinum is highly regarded by those who frequent this forum and should be worth the $.90/L extra you'd have to pay to get it. I saw a fair amount 4 days ago at the 137th Ave. and 45th (ish) street Wal-Mart.

Not sure who produces it, could be Petro and should be good oil.

Yuk: I've been to a couple WM's and haven't seen that sale everyone's talked about. Might have to try that location, thanks.

Who makes Formula Shell Synthetic Blend?

Ummmm.... I going out on a limb here, but I think Shell makes it.

BTW, Would I be correct if I guessed that the gas station your family owns is a Shell?

I just happened to be at this Wal-Mart an hour ago and there are still PP jugs in stock. They are in the oil section, at the east end of the second row of shelves, running parallel to the oil wall.

I posted this the other day...."BJs has Shell 5W30 Synthetic for #16.39 for 6. It's $19.99 with a $3.60 online rebate. That's $2.73 qt." I don't know if it's available in Canada. Full Syn too. Is this also a Group II and III mix?
