Yes, sadly, it is the one weight/example of an 'on the shelf' at most chain stores type fluid costing as much as (or even MORE than), a great 'boutique' gear oil.

I was talking about the Mobil 1s, Castrol Syntecs, and RPs in 75W-140, NOT the Peaks, Super Techs, Coastals, etc.

And yes, the Ashland 75W-140 product is a relative BARGAIN at it's usual price (ALWAYS WAS!).

Wonder how the Valvoline Durablend 80W90 compares to Amsoil AGL 80W90?

DailyDriver, I was curious, the links I provided, do they show up with my vehicle and local store information? I have always wondered that and this was an opportune time to ask.

BTW, with Valvoline 75W140 at $12.99 per qt. this is a great gear oil at an even greater price, over other gear oils in this weight. And, it's only $1 more per qt. than WM ST 75W140.

Ya, 12.99 for a full syn 75w-140 will keep me coming back for more. I like their whole pricing structure actually, its just a dollar or so difference between the durablend 80w-90, syn 75w-90, and the 140 mentioned. Plus they carry gallon jugs of conventional 80w-90 valvoline locally for only 19.99!
