On the newer cars.
Do you ever feel that you sit off center to the steering wheel?
I don't like Fords habit of fitting you in the car like your in a cocoon and
is it me or does Ford have the most narrow seats out there?

I'm a little off center to begin with. Maybe these cars would straighten me out!

My Daughter has a 2010 Focus and though I don't care to drive it, it is a very comfortable car for being small.

I've driven my 16' Escape and my 14' Focus from NY to Fla. and found them both comfortable and economical.

If I may? Your height and weight?

Thank you for that. I had enough cars to know what I'm seeing is reality.

I'm with Tig1 on this one

"The seats are wonderfully supportive, though the driver’s seat is not centered behind the steering wheel. In fact, it’s also not aimed straight ahead. With the driver seated inboard of the wheel, BMW angled the seat — and especially the seatback — toward the left-front corner of the car. It’s a cheap trick, and one that only perfectionists would notice. BMW should still be catering to perfectionists."

Thank you for that. I got some flack from some others that have owned my car and have put 100K miles on them. But in my business I am paid to sweat details and notice the little things such as this. To me this stuff is obvious and no I am not OCD as I know very little is perfect in this world and try not to get carried away with it.
But I also don't like be forced into a box when I drive a car. If I remember the last Taurus was demoted for the same issues. Not everybody is 5 ft and 120 pounds
