No matter what factors and test variables the SAE test/formulas use, they will never match your specific situation.

The only way to validate your specific vehicle and driving conditions is to actually use and test it.

If LC and SWRI said it makes an improvement, that is enough clout to let me know it may be worth the $60 gamble.

SWRI is a HUGE automotive test facility that most if not all major auto manufacturers use for thrid party testing.

To get mpg readings you must take these numbers and use their formula which we did and it gave us a 10% average increase in mpg.

Now you've got my attention. I remember Terry (I think) mentioned something around 6% for gassers, during intial testing way back when.

A 10% increase would put my average MPG from 32.9 to 36.2. Heck even a 6% measureable increase would be huge.

i been reading more closely at these fuel additives. it seems to me neutra 131 does just about everything that most additives don't...any comments? i was disappointed when i re-read that fp60 wasn't an ucl and does not mention anything about neutralizing acids and most of all, as bob says, it is ashless leaves 0%residue...one can read all this info from the excellent schaeffer web site...lubecontrol has nothing to look up tech. info..and it seems to be a secret and i wonder why no one has ever done a vigin oil sample on fp60..there is one on lube control...this is just my opinion..please educate me...thanks all....if all my findings come to past i will cont. to only use neutra 131 in both of my fuel and engines..i leave the neutra in my engine the entire oil change cycle..

X2, but the problem is being able to order Nuetra or any Shaeffer product. I simply gave up, if your not going to get 300 dollars worth it is near impossible to get the product or even any pricing information on it. Yeah, I know guys I followed every link about people who sell Shaeffers and I have gotton NO response. I think they are really only interested in having a repeat high volume customer. I think if they opened a internet store it would be very successful, but I think that goes against their marketing strategy. I surrender.

I have no problems getting a case, and even some other stuff, but no luck finding someone to supply it. Seriously, if anyone knows a Shaeffers distributor in the Santa Rosa CA area, PM me please. I have had no luck with all the links that were supplied to me here on BITOG. And also no luck with Shaeffers getting back to me. It's kinda of a joke. I'll probably spend a 100 the first time just to try the stuff out.

Shelby, I had the same problem when trying to get ahold of a bottle or two of Nuetra. The one dealer I found who would sell a small amount, said there was a $20 hazmat shipping fee added. No thanks.
