Sounds like a fair price if you like the fp60. What is the difference between the fp60 and fp3000?

Shelby, the difference is 2940.

I'll try some, when I use up my current, almost full FP60.

Pleased to see the good results! Outstanding! (And thanks, LCD, for taking care of my son when he stopped at the warehouse yesterday for a fresh gallon of FP-60. He was on the road to Pensacola this morning).

LCD, will this be shipping out to international distributors?

How do I go about getting an gallon of FP3000 if the Singapore distributor is cheaper for shipping?

TanSedan....no problem....you have a quality son.

Shaman.....once production is complete it will be available to the Singapore Dist.

So, do we use FP60 and FP3000 in conjunction with each other, or separately. I wish I knew this was coming out sooner, I just got a new gallon of FP60 in this week.

No, the difference is $14.50 per gallon, lol. I'm just wondering if it is worth it to go with the more expensive one. At least talk me into it, is the newer addition a concentrated formula or just additional additives or what?

It's LESS expensive now because the treat rate is now 1oz (FP3000) per 10 gallons gas instead of 1oz (FP60) per 5 gallons gas.

Ok, I am not going to go on a year long poor customer sevice rant, I just want an official answer on what's the difference between the two and that's cool if I don't get I just wont consider buying it. I went back a year search see- http://theoildrop.server101.com/forums/dosearch.php?Cat=0&Searchpage=2&topic= - and I cannot find out what fp3000 is. I appoligize in advance if this has been brought up before but I thought this thread would be a good place to ask. My main question is why is fp3000 more beneficial than fp60 and if it's concentrated wouldn't that make it harder on the CAT? Thanks again.

Okay guys, I'm with Shelby. I haven't seen one thread that actually describes what the difference is between FP60 and FP3000. I love the benefits of FP60, but what will I gain with FP3000?

Bruce,

SwRI did the SAE J1321 Fuel Economy test which is THE test in the trucking industry. Anything over 2% considered to be a success and is hardly ever seen. In 25 years at SwRI the man over the test has only seen 3 additives get over 2%.....ours is one of them.

Thats cool

to bad you have to pay big bucks for the test to be legit and a lot other less reputable aftermarket additive sellers will cliam the same thing.

I've been reading about FP what seems like a couple of years now and I've been tempted to order the product. Can someone point me to a reputable site that has performed tests on this product? I'm not doubting it's a quality product; I would just like to know a little more.

Do you have a wear scar #for FP3000? Or FP60?

+1 Terry Dyson has stated that FP60 has the highest lubricant qualities of any of the fuel adds. LCD claims that it is a lubricant. I too, would like to see some numbers/documentation of this.

+1 on some info on the differences between FP60 and FP3000. Not seeing anything useful.

I really want to like LCD products, but their information and documentation is poor. The sparse information on their MSDS' is concerning.

I don't know if I got this straight but I recall reading here a while back that FP3000 should show its greatest benefit over FP60 in diesel engines and large motor applications. The differences between the two formulations should not be as apparant in gas motors. Why this sticks in my head I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure I read that assessment here at this forum.

When I asked Terry about FP60, he said that FP3000 was even a better, "neater" product. So I'm assuming it's ________ good.

Oh, I wish they would have just said that. It's neater, I'll pay $14.50 extra per gallon for that alone, lol.

It's been a week and we all are still waiting on lube control to state what fp3000 is.

I didn't get the e-mail but I went ahead and pre-ordered two gallons of FP3000. I don't sweat the fuel economy with my 40 MPG '95 Civic but I do hope the fuel system cleaning and stabilization abilities are at least as good as FP60, which I have grown rather attached to.

P.S. I wish they would allow 80 characters for the signature- seems awkward wording-wise but at least they're back!
