RESUME

George W. Bush
The White House, USA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

LAW ENFORCEMENT:

I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under
the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended
for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

MILITARY:

I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL.
I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my
drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid
combat duty in Vietnam.

COLLEGE:

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average.
I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for U.S. Congress and lost.

I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975.
I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas.
The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal
that took land using taxpayer money.

With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil
industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of
Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS:

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies,
making Texas the most polluted state in the Union.

During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most
smog-ridden city in America.

I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of
billions in borrowed money.

I set the record for the most executions by any governor in
American history.

With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my
father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after
losing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a
criminal record.

I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over
one billion dollars per week.

I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S.
Treasury.

I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S.
history.

I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in
any 12-month period.

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month
period.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any
administration in U.S. history.

My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil
tanker named after her.

I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S.
President.

I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the
most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best
friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud
in U.S. History, Enron.

My political party used Enron private jets and corporate
attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election
decision.

I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against
investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent
investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent
investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.

I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and
refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.

I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be
awarded government contracts.

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any
President in U.S. history.

I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest
bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.

I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S.
history.

I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United
Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.

I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law.

I refused to allow inspectors access to U.S. "prisoners of war"
detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva
Convention.

I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations
election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election).

I set the record for fewest number of press conferences of any
President since the advent of television.

I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any
one-year period.

After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the
worst security failure in U.S. history.

I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade
Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated
country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.

I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to
simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people),
shattering the record for protest against any person in the
history of mankind.

I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked,
pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign
nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of
U.S. citizens, and the world community.

I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a
cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in war
time.

In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for
attacking Iraq, then blamed the lies on our British friends.

I am the first President in history to have a majority of
Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and
security.

I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker
Buster," a WMD.

I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin
Laden to justice.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my
father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.

All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my
bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for
public view.

All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President,
attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and
unavailable for public review.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

Mr. Jones, because you are new on the board I will ignore the title of your post which I modified. President Bush is the correct way to address our Commander-In-Chief.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

Pretty good cut-and-paste job. However, you fail to list any references to back up anything you copied. I'll take a stab at a few items.

1) Graduating from Yale in and of itself is not bad.

2) Is this trying to convince me to vote against Bush or for Bush? Because, it's convincing me to vote for him.

3) The president isn't elected by popular vote. The electoral college elects the president. True, some states' electoral votes all go to the president that the majority of the people voted for. There are not 500,000 electoral votes available.

4) Really? I seriously doubt this. I'm not going to spend the time to disprove this.

5) And? How is he supposed to accomplish #20 w/o spending money?

6) What surplus? You mean the 10-year PROJECTED surplus that has a margin of error of +-100%?

7) You should have left the word PRIVATE out. Again the key word here is private.

8) Wow, Bush caused everyone to overspend and lending companies to extend too much credit to all people?

9) Reference please.

10) I'm not sure about this one once you take inflation into consideration. But either way, he has (probably) presided over the highest egg prices in history too.
dunno.gif

11) I agree with you here.

12) About time. More need to be broken. We are a sovereign nation.

13) Anything that has the US & the UN parting ways, I pretty much support.

14) Again, is this post to convince me to vote for Bush?

15) Fine with me. I won't have to listen to folks complain at work about missing their favorite TV show.

16) Exactly how many days does the President get & how many true vacation days has he taken?

17) The majority of the US citizens? This is a joke. Against the world opinion? I could care less.

18) Then he must be doing something right.

19) And the problem with that is...? Ahh, job security for my wife.

20) He pledged to not quit & he hasn't. Tell me again when Bush said we would capture Osama?

Dangerous to throw too many rocks at glass houses. Kerry has some skeletons in his closet as well, and the Dems are quite touchy about a few of these being brought into the light. Okay apparently for the President of the United States to be called a traitor to his country by a former vice president but not okay apparently for people to be told what Kerry did when he returned from Vietnam. And that was public testimony before Congress so it is on the record and a fact. We don't have to question somebodies faulty memory. A lot of veterans are kind of upset about some of the things that were said about them before Congress by Mr. Kerry.

I think the problem is that he diverted the money and resources that would have led to the capture of Osama Bin Forgotten into his little war against a tyrant who was effectively contained and posed no threat to us. Reagan showed us you can contain and wait out such regimes untill they implode....and those Soviets did have WMD so it would have worked against that pipsqueek in Baghdad.

"But mormit, there has been no attack on American soil in three years...blah, blah....."

There was a gap of eight years between attacks on American soil after the first attempt on the WTC. The last attacks on the US embassies and the Cole were years before 9/11....and that was all with Clinton asleep at the wheel. Al Qaeda plans their evil years in advance.

Sorry, not impressed with Bush's results.

Bin laden is a problem, one of many. It would be very short sighted to single-mindedly pursue capturing him and ignore all other problems. Clinton left the greatest mess in history.

It is absolutely stupid to compare the Soviet Union to Iraq. Fortunately no nut case like Saddam ever got his finger on their nuclear trigger.

I suspect that is the first good thing you ever said about Reagan. Likely you hated and despised him just as you do Bush. Some people just can't stand having a decent man as president.

Labman,

Nope, I have always admired Reagan. I do not believe that G W Bush deserves to hold the same position of power. I actually voted for Bush in 2000 out of revulsion for Gore. To be fair though, each of the presidents following Reagan has been a disappointment.

In looking back at my previous post, comparing Iraq and the USSR was stupid on my part. The USSR was actually a threat. I stand corrected.

We were somewhat lucky to foil the Millenium bomb plot, 1999. One alert U.S. customs agent made the difference.

Please explain how Al-Qaeda planned the Madrid bombings "years in advance". In advance of what?

If Al-Qaeda thinks it can achieve some result, such as installing an appeasement government, it can attack with very little forward planning. I will breathe easier on November 3rd.

TallPaul, Yeah your probably right. I guess I'd have to say I dont know the guy but I still stay its garbage that he's spewing. Normally when someone says something like this on a forum I wouldnt sweat it but the title of this thread... well he started the mud slingin in my opinion.
It just goes to show you why the republican convention is going to need a ton of security. CUZ ALL THE DEADBEAT PINKOS will be outside exercising their 1st ammendment rights. They'll be there in all their glory, their black gothic attire, bodies pierced, the ones that can stay for days at a time because they choose not to work and contribute to society. They claim that the president has taken their job. THEY DIDNT WORK WHEN CLINTON WAS IN OFFICE!
And then you'll see all the Godless environazis that claim to want to save mommy earth. Then you'll see the bleeding hearts that oppose the death penalty for capital crime but have no conviction about the yet unborn.
I know there are fine individuals on that side but the fine ones dont title threads with "To all *&%#$% repubs"
Sorry guys but he drew first blood.

Keith,

The Bush administration is the appeasement government. He's attacking a little tyrant but a known enemy of Al Qeada specifically and militant Islam in general. We are gaining nothing from our involvement in Iraq.

And yes, I stand by my statement that they take years to plan and execute their attacks on the US. I do not know how much time went into the Madrid attack but that was carried out by a newer splinter group that sympathized with Al Qaeda.

Yes, Clinton left a mess but Bush keeps stomping on the flaming bag of poo.

Here is a definition of Pinko from Urbandictionary.com:

Pinko -

1)"Lukewarm communist. Half-way communist. Quasi-communist. Socialist. Uber-collectivist. A Leftista who is not a member of an official communist organization or government. "Anarchists" who support Big Government policies (charlatans). One who believes in peace, order, and appeasement. One who believes in majority rule (mobocracy)."

2)"Contrary to popular belief, used to describe Socialists, as Communism = Red, and Capitalism = White. (See Russian Revolution in your history text book) Red + White = Pink. Therefore, Socialism = Pink."

The screaming subtlety of this statement, that a vote for Kerry is a vote for Al-Queda, is clearly what the Repubs would like us to believe. So far GW has played into their hands and done what they wanted. Do we all feel safer yet?

So, naturally, you feel the need to retaliate, huh?

Just so you'll know, I consider myself an environmentalist, I also go to church more times in a week than you probably do in a month; and am among other things, A Christian. So watch it with the 'godless environazi' stuff.

Just relax, if you don't like what somebody posts, don't read it, or rebutt them with a little class and intelligent commentary of your own.

I think I'll take my own advice.
