Flu Vaccine with a Head cold? Or dont get it?

I recently had a operation. I was in the operating room 4 hours and the bill for the operating room only was 1,900.00. I stayed in the hospital one night. So I am still waiting for that bill, along with the Doctor's and Anesthesiologist.

In Utah-due to having an HMO as a major player in the state-the healthcare costs are somewhat contained.

I have met my max out of pocket so I am not too worried.

Ya, and I lived for 58 years and never got Cancer, guess what happened at age 58 1/2? Yup, you got it, cancer.

I sure hope and pray you don't work at any hospitals near here, I have way to many friends around here.

and know its Not Necessary for 95 % of all Americans.

I've worked in hospitals and healthcare for over 30 years, I know what I'm talking about...

Thanks for the advice, I don't need it. I just sign a piece of paper saying I refuse the flu shot.
 
How many people in this thread apparently believe that exposure to the flu virus gives every exposed person the flu, and that the vaccine is the only promise of not getting it ?

That's the part that deserves to be in the humour section.

Like I said before, the flu shot is not necessary in 95 % of all Americans. Big pharmaceutical companies say it is necessary.
Jim Jones also said taking the grape flavored Kool Aid was necessary.

For the record: I own 3200 shares of Pfizer. The flu shot is NOT necessary.

Owning stock in a company makes one an expert in what they produce.

I don't know about 95%, but I did post the EU and the WHO recommendations. They clearly said only the very young, the very old, or those with compromised immune systems.

We seems to be someone unique here in the US, suggesting everyone get one.

Perhaps our members from Canada will chime in on if their healthcare provides them a flu shot,or they simply recommend they go out and get one, at their own cost.

Glad we have an expert that has his own personal knowledge overshadow's scientific facts.

What a joke, what makes it even worse there are those who will believe his advice.

Bragging about how many shares of a stock one owners means just what. I oun one stock in an oil company, does that make me an expert in producing oil? I think not.

I have a financial interest in Pfizer, but at the same time.... I'm not a hypocrite and telling everyone they need the flu shot because big pharmacitucal companies say it's in 'your best interest' to get it every year.

Again.... The flu shot is not necessary for 95 % of Americans.
