Had a friend with one actually. Didn't like how loud it was since he said he also took his resonator off. It did sound good but just a bit too loud for my taste. Maybe with the resonator still on it would be less loud. I personally like more quiet exhausts and the optional sport exhaust on my xl Denali is perfect. Not loud enough to be heard inside even with heavier acceleration but sounds real nice outside especially on a cold start. Just right. The optional sport exhaust on the 2021 escalade was too much so i went with the stock exhaust and i like it for its quietness. My sierra also has the stock quiet exhaust and i like how quiet it is.

My neighbor has one of these or something similar (if it has a muffler at all) and thinks its the greatest thing in the world... everyone else thinks it is a POS. Maybe i'll stick my head under it and see what it has on it.

I like a good sounding car or truck as much as the next guy but it doesn't have to be stupid loud. a Super 50 isn't terribly loud but still has the growl. I has some Super 44 (or maybe 40) s on a Camaro back in the day and it still set car alarms off...

Ultra flows on the F100 tame until you get on it then sound like old school glass packs. Nowdays my taste run more that direction.

Oh man, I like the noise of a well tuned high performance engine. But flowmasters make any engine sound like it has a crude hollow drainpipe for exhaust. Harsh, metallic and utterly annoying.

my fav is the 3” walker dyno max. 400HP per muffler, no prob.

That will be VERY loud. I used to run Flowmasters on my previous vehicles, Super 40 and a Super 44. They sounded good, for a while, but they don't hold up. The welds inside break and then the plates have this horrible rattling sound that is amplified by the design of the muffler. I stopped using loud mufflers because when you have a long commute the droning starts getting to you. If I was to run aftermarket I'd do Magnaflow or Borla. Youtube videos never do those brands justice for their sound, since most people take the video right after install, and my experience has been those mufflers are twice as loud after a year or so of break-in.

Any engine?

I would say a SBF Windsor with the HO firing order and a set of Flowmasters might be the best sounding engine/exhaust setup of all time.

They don't make a ton of power, and it might just be nostalgia from high school, but a 4.6L V8 Mustang with Borla Stingers or Magnaflow with an X-pipe is where it's at.

Surprisingly they sounded almost the same as Windsors. Ford worked really hard to get them close and they did a pretty good job.

I'd take Borla because they use 304, while Flowmaster is either 409 or aluminized :poop:

Dynomax is also aluminized, but that's ok because they cost much less.
