We set up a family trip to Florida for for 10 days in March. I see all kinds of SIM cards for unlimited data, calling etc available on Amazon. On past trips I've just added roaming coverage packages to my phone, but this time we are travelling with 2 teenagers and looking to buy prepaid unlimited data/calling SIMs for us. T-mobile SIMs are readily available at good prices.
How's coverage in Florida?
Any Canadians use these? Did you have issues? Worked well?
Does the 5, 10 or 12 days start when you install them in your phone and link in the first time?

Looking at something like this:

Any feedback or further information would be appreciated.

T-Mobile has a Prepaid App that can add an eSIM to your phone (provided it is supported). I've used that a few time with success as a 2nd line on my iPhone.

T-Mobile service can be hit or miss. If you are in major metro areas or near major highways, it will be fine.

Shouldn't start until you use it the first time. To be safe, just wait until you arrive in FL.
