Flat rate restaurant dining prices?

Some folks have lots of moo-lah

OP doesn't list his/her location. If that $75 meal is on the left coast, it would be $35-40 here. My lady friend and I had a nice early dinner the other night, at a well respected semi upscale seafood grill and we BOTH ate very well for $60 total.

Well, it’s kinda hard to find places that do it well these days. But there's actually this French restaurant Adelaide, Garçon Bleu, that does something similar, and it’s a great way to get a full meal experience without worrying about extra costs piling up. Last time I went, I tried a few courses, and each one had a creative spin on classic French dishes.

Bob Evans here has a "2 can Dine for $22.99". We did that and we were full when we left. Comes with 2 salads or cup of soup to start then main entree and at the end desert. Also a serving of their banana bread. Just made myself hungry.

I guess its up to you, what its worth. I feel pretty good with 1 hr of my pay for a decent meal, but if its double then its got to be something pretty good. I don't much like paying for location...
Reminds me of visiting Paris in the 90's and on the Av. des Champs-Élysées the cafe would charge more for the same items the closer you sat to the street... We figured that out from our poor french skills, and sat in the cheap seats, but saw a few people sit at the front and get a bit of a jolt when their coffee and little pizza was near 200 francs or $40US each!
Same coffee, 30' away was a half or 1/3 the price.
