First time seeing- handicap bar top at a bar

At the bar at Texas Roadhouse.

Didn’t realize until after I sat down, a handicap bar top is just to the left of where I am sitting. Appears this top moves down as beneficial. Will allow a person in a wheelchair eat at the bar in their wheelchair.

I have learned that there are many many ADA features hidden in plain sight that most people never notice. Even simple items like the style of a door handle or a faucet are a big deal.

I have seen permanent fixed lower seating, never a bar top that can be lowered.

Just judging by the finish of the bar and the quality look of everything else in the picture, you drink at a much higher class of bar than i used too
